The Kajang Dispersal Link Expressway (Kajang SILK) is a 3-lane dual carriageway with a total length of 37km. Conceived to regulate escalating traffic in and around Kajang, SILK has turned out to be a primary ring road that allows you to bypass congestion with ease. More than a convenience, it was a necessity considering Kajang’s status as one of Malaysia’s most populated cities.

SILK was acquired by PROLINTAS in 2017 and it offers commuters access to various key locations via 12 convenient interchanges, cutting travelling times between North and South of Kajang significantly.

It is also designed to make your drive to and from Kuala Lumpur, Cheras, Sungai Long, Balakong, Putrajaya, Semenyih, Bangi, KLIA and Seremban a pleasant one. Kajang SILK has proven to be immensely useful to a broader range of travellers as it is connected to major highways such as NSE, BESRAYA, GRAND SAGA, LEKAS and SKVE.

To ensure commuters a smooth and stress-free journey, SILK comes fully equipped with well-appointed rest areas and 4 open system toll plazas at Sungai Balak, Sungai Ramal, Bukit Kajang and Sungai Long. Consistent efforts are in place to ensure effective upkeep of road surfaces, emergency facilities and amenities, as well as improved traffic flow. Pedestrian safety is assured with the use of pedestrian bridges while the sensitivities of surrounding communities are also considered with the use of noise barriers at strategic locations.
